The Japanese company Yanmar was founded in 1912. Initially it focused on the production of high-quality gasoline engines. The demand for this company’s products grew steadily and developed rapidly. The first diesel engine was produced in 1919. Over time, new lines were built for the production of engines for sea vessels.

It was clear to everyone that Yanmar would soon think about producing its own machines. It was just a matter of time. The first tractors rolled off the assembly line in 1963. This is the starting point of a new branch in Yanmar’s history. The model range was gradually expanded and in 1975 the production of small garden tools began.

Thanks to durable components, high-quality assembly and easy operation, Yanmar’s Japanese small tractors are considered one of the leaders in the international market.

Yanmar 1500D

This small tractor is a high quality and multifunctional unit designed to operate on a plot of up to 10 hectares. The Yanmar 1500D small tractor is equipped with a 20 hp diesel engine. For this reason, its maximum load capacity can reach 1 ton.

Yanmar compact tractors should be run in during the first 7-10 hours of operation. In this mode, the maximum load on the engine should not exceed 30%. Grade

You should not only know the rules for the first start, but also the further use of the technology. If you need to preserve the small tractor, the instruction manual recommends the following steps:

1. Place the mini tractor in the garage;
2. Drain fuel and oil;
3. Disconnect the terminals from the spark plugs and remove the battery;
4. Release the pressure in the tires;
5. Remove dirt and dust residue to avoid corrosion on the machine body.

Service

• In order to extend the service life of Yanmar small tractors, it is necessary to carry out their maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the operating instructions.
• The engine oil should be changed after 250 hours of operation. For this it is recommended to use lubricants with a classification of 10W-40.
• Tap-15V or TAd-17i should be used for transmission. In this node, the oil should be changed after 500 hours of operation.

Fuel requirement

Japanese mini Yanmar tractors run on diesel fuel. It must be fresh, clean and meet international standards. Diesel with sediments, water content or foreign substances must not be filled.

Major malfunctions and repairs

If the hydraulic pump does not drive the attachment:

1. Not enough oil (just add);
2. The hydraulic pump is switched off;
3. Relief valve stuck (should be cleaned).

Japanese technology has always been known for its reliability. That’s why I decided on a used Yanmar. Little was heard of these machines in our area, so I was a pioneer. The equipment is good: even after 30 years, the engine runs stably, the chassis is normal, it reproduces its technical characteristics without problems, fuel consumption is not high. The main thing is to follow the equipment and it will last for many years.

This is a good classic among small tractors, now there are a large number of different models with a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles. My Yanmar is a reliable helper in daily work in the field. It does an excellent job of plowing, milling, hilling and transporting goods. Since it is already many years old, I change the oil every 100 operating hours as a preventive measure.

Advantages: High-quality small tractor with a wide range of work.

Disadvantages: shaking, not very comfortable seat, loud engine roar.
