This is what the terrace of the house looked like at first
This patio of a house in Rockville, Maryland was good enough. A small platform next to the walls on either side was circular in shape and lined with stone tiles. And on the other two sides the yard was surrounded by all kinds of plants and trees.
But two years later, the tenants decided that the wooden floor looked more attractive here.
And this is how the yard changed after the advent of wooden floors
Our heroes were very satisfied with the quality of the wood – it looked much more expensive than its real value. Plus, shipping was free. They opted for prefabricated pine boards that do not require painting or any preparation for use.
The whole work took a week. The wooden floor looked great but the old furniture was no longer good. The metallic yellow chairs from Ikea didn’t go well with the new teak table. But over time it still turns gray, so everything was fine.

More than a month has passed since the completion of all courtyard transformations, but our heroes are still satisfied with the result.

The wooden platform is flush with the floor of the house, which is very advantageous. Both visually and practically.
“There used to be such an annoying step that we didn’t want to go out into the yard anymore,” said the hostess.
But now this area looks like a continuation of the living room. It’s very pleasant to be there, it’s like walking in the forest.
